Has anybody tried using pandora.com with jaws 6.0 or 6.1? It seems like there are too many image maps and jaws can't negotiate it but I thought I would post here to folks who know more about computers than me. Pandora.com is fun for listening to specific types of music and creating your own radio station, but it seems jaws users are very limited on the site. Opinions?

Did you actually manage to sign up because I can't figure out how. I'm using jaws 8 and I guess it's doing the same thing.

they signed me up because I contacted pandora support contact or something like that. I wish enough people would gripe so the site would be updated to be more accessible for us. I made sure the web master knew there are problems for us. Even to eliminate songs you don't want to hear stops working after 2 times for me. We have a news station here that is so user friendly I suggested the support people look at that and update pandora accordingly. Has anybody else contacted the web master for the site?

But if I can figger out the site, I can tell you I'll be using it alot. Because it is a cool one.

Is it free to sign up?

yes it is. I agree wholeheartedly the site is cool. I just got an Email from pandora with links to get to certain songs. I have to play with that some more but it seems to work quite well with jaws. I'm over the hill but love the old rock and roll stuff; they seem to monitor who listens to what and make song suggestions accordingly.

It's not accessible, but is a great idea. I have spoken with them several times and they appoligize for the slight, but haven't fixed it yet. I suggest www.live365.com or under media player choosing the windows media button then radio. Maybe soon. It does work limitedly, but there is lots of things it's able to do Jaws users can't even see, so believe me your missing lots and don't know it yet. *smile* Keep complaining maybe they've answer the gripes.
